Syracuse, New York

hooray you're in!

Beautiful weather has arrived (at least it did for Tracy and Travis’ golden hour engagement session at the Bluffs in Sterling.) When Saturday’s weather thwarted our original plans for a session at Tracy’s parent’s house, Tracy reached out and we reschedule their session for the following day at the Bluffs. Cue the nearly eighty degree […]

One of the most overlooked settings for photos is always the landscape of the urban area. When Sarah and her husband Tyler  got married a few years ago, we visited Franklin Square for their portraits. I was thrilled when Sarah opted for her maternity session at Franklin Square. There is something old-worldly elegant about the […]

Karista & Matt Karista and Matt met up with me a few weeks ago for their Fallbrook spring engagement session. Getting to work with friends is always a treat for me. I have known and worked with Karista’s dad for many years, and have had the joy of capturing pictures for Karista and Matt as […]

Adorable pictures ahead! Elliana made her entrance into this world a little on the early side, but she couldn’t be more perfect. We had just done maternity pics about a week before (thank goodness we got them in!) Elliana not only looks angelic, but she was the perfect little model for her newborn session.  Sometimes […]

Let it snow! Aireil and Justin knew they definitely wanted winter images for their engagement session. We were originally going to meet at Salmon River Falls, but an unexpected dump of snow made the trail to the falls inaccessible, so we met at for a snowy engagement session at Mexico Point instead! Although I might moan and groan about winter weather, especially in March when it should be starting to get more spring-like, there is no denying that the snow and ice makes for some gorgeous pictures, especially when coupled with the beauty of Lake Ontario.

They met through a mutual friend while at SUNY Morrisville. What started as a friendship eventually blossomed into a wonderful partnership, […]

Darling newborn, Rosaleigh, made a visit to my home studio in Mexico, New York with her parents and big sister last week for her newborn session.

This is one of my favorite families. I first met Charles and Amanda for their wedding, and have had the pleasure to have been with them for their family milestones. Such a wonderful, kind family, and always a joy to see.

When I met Tayler and Chris at Fallbrook for a winter maternity session, I knew we were going to be creating some stunning images. Tayler stepped out of their truck with this eye popping red maternity gown, and it just “Popped” against the winter white of the snow. Tayler and Chris have come to me for the past few years for their family photos. They are a photographer’s dream family; always smiling, always prepared, and always up to try anything.

A few weekends ago, Jordan and Nick headed to my farm in Mexico for their winter engagement session. It has been particularly chilly the past few weeks, but it gave use the opportunity to take advantage of the frozen Little Salmon River for some beautiful winter photos.
