The internet has it’s own unique way of bring people together. It allows us to stay in touch with people easily, and, in some cases, meet new people! I have had so many couples tell me that they met each other via dating websites, and that’s where Rebecca and Ryan’s love story started: Match.com. And, match they do! They are both such sweet and considerate people; the type of people you feel completely relaxed around the moment you have your first conversation with them.

Rebecca and Ryan bonded initially through playing a lot of Magic the Gathering together. Although I didn’t get a chance to test their prowess at the game, I can tell you one skill they definitely have: recognizing the beauty of an outdoor setting. They clearly have a keen eye in finding gorgeous outdoor locations based on their pick of Eastwood Park for their engagement session, so it is no surprise that they both love activities outdoors: Hiking, snowshoeing, and walks. Eastwood is kind of a hidden gem in Syracuse. It’s a tiny park that offers so much variety and beauty.

Animal people are always my kind of people. Rebecca suggested that they may bring their cats along for the session, which I though would be so much fun. Alas, I didn’t get to meet their kitties, but the fact that they thought of including them makes my heart soar nonetheless.

Rebecca and Ryan are food tourists, and I have to say, the past few months has NOT been easy on those who enjoy dining out and exploring cuisine! Hopefully, as things start to open back up, the days of great dining will begin again.

I will be along for the ride when this fun-loving couple celebrates their wedding day in January at the Syracuse Marriott Downtown. I can’t wait to capture the day.
