Winter mico-wedding in Syracuse NY.
Winter temperatures and a pandemic were no match for Rebecca and Ryan’s love. Nothing was going to stop these two from celebrating their union to one another. When their full wedding plans had to be put on hold, Rebecca and Ryan created their own (Covid-safe) day that included a first look in Onondaga Park followed by a micro-wedding in at their house in Syracuse.
We met on Saturday afternoon at the historic bridge to start the day. In any weather, the bridge is always a gorgeous backdrop for romantic moments.
It may have been the coldest day of winter so far, but you would never have been able to tell. These two looked so cozy and comfortable for their couple’s photos despite the single digit wind chills.
Rebecca had a special heirloom to include and keep close throughout the day. What a clever idea to stitch it into the gown!
After the first look, we went to Rebecca and Ryan’s house in Syracuse. They had set-up a beautiful little ceremony spot in their backyard.
When you have cats this gorgeous, you HAVE to make sure to include them in the pictures.
Next up was the ceremony! Rebecca wanted some snow for the moment, and there was the perfect hint of snow in the air when they became Mr. and Mrs.
After a wonderfully hosted meal inside, everyone stepped outside for some reception moments, complete with a bouquet toss and cake cutting.
It was DEFINITELY the perfect evening for a warm fire.
Ryan and Rebecca shared some celebratory cigars amid the falling snow.
Congratulations, Rebecca and Ryan!
