Michelle & Michael
This past Saturday, Michelle and Michael celebrated their wedding in Oswego with their closest friends and family.
The day started off with some glamming up at the Best Western in Oswego. The hotel was positively hopping with wedding day activities. It was refreshing to see that glimmer of hope that the celebration of weddings is starting to come back to the area, and I’m so happy that Michelle and Michael decided to go ahead with their wedding, and plan in a COVID-friendly way. The joy of the day was not diminished at all, and I have to say, Michelle and Michael’s wedding party was SO. MUCH. FUN! They should shoot a “HOW TO HAVE THE BEST TIME POSSIBLE” instructional video for wedding parties. They’d go viral.
The ceremony was at the gorgeous St. Mary’s of the Assumption in Oswego. Stepping into this ornate church is like strolling into one of the beautiful houses of worship in Europe.
After the ceremony, we headed to Breitbeck Park on the shores of Lake Ontario for portraits. I loved how the bridal parties rainbow palette “popped” in the portraits. It’s a wonderful reminder to couples to “make your wedding your own.” There is no rule that everyone has to wear the same thing.
A unique treat that was a last minute add to the itinerary was to head over to Bayshore Grove in Oswego for portraits. The backdrop NEVER disappoints!
Congratulations, Michelle and Michael!
