It’s hard to believe that it’s been a year since I met Nikki and Kyle for their engagement session at a gorgeous coverage bridge in Eastern New York. Outdoor lovers Nikki and Kyle celebrated their wedding at one of the best rustic venues in Central New York, the Arrowhead Lodge in Brewerton! It was the perfect lodge-like setting to celebrate the day with their friends and family, and the weather blessed us with a brief pause in the rain to get out to the lake and get some truly gorgeous pictures! Being a country gal myself, I always feel I’m right at home in any rural, rustic setting. And working with Nikki, Kyle and their wonderful friends and family made the day feel like a day among close friends for me.
Nikki and her gals spent the morning at the salon prepping for the day.
We weren’t sure if the weather was going to let us get in a first look before the ceremony, but mother nature was on our side, and the sun broke out right before the ceremony so that Kyle and Nikki could share their first moments together right near the duck pond.
We made our way inside for the ceremony.
We were so lucky to have Onieda Shores so close to the venue, and it worked out as the perfect spot for group and couples photos.
A quick trip up the road to Arrowhead, and it was reception time!!!!
Nikki and Kyle shared their special day with Nikki’s brother, who proposed to his girlfriend during the bouquet toss. She said Yes!!!!
Some more partying, and then we snuck outside for some quick photos among the pines.
Congratulations, Nikki and Kyle!!!!
