Fran and Whitney finally got to celebrate their wedding day at Dibbles Inn! May was supposed to be their special month, but when COVID interfered with those plans, Fran and Whitney eloped instead and postponed their big celebration for the fall. I have been waiting to share this day with them for months, and Rob and I were so happy to be there to document their wedding story.
The morning started at La Quinta hotel in Verona, where the brides relaxed and prepared for the day.
Fran and Whitney then traveled to Dibbles Inn to dress and prepare for their first look.
One unexpected perk of the rescheduled day was that we had the entire grounds to ourselves, which mean Fran and Whitney were able to have a gorgeous first look on the walkway through the orchard.
Couples who plan the portrait segment of their day to be before the ceremony always have the benefit of warmer temperatures, better light, and more time to enjoy their cocktail hours. Although I can’t really say that it was all that warm (it is November, after all), it was still a gorgeous afternoon by late fall standards. The pine trees on the Dibbles property are one of my very favorite portraits spots of all wedding venues in Central New York.
The ceremony was in the immaculately groomed gardens outside of the Apple Orchard Lodge portion of Dibbles.
After the ceremony, friends and family joined Fran and Whitney for their reception inside, followed by some night time pictures.
Congratulations Fran and Whitney!
