Last Sunday was Michelle and Aaron’s day. After planning, re-planning, and, well, re-planning again, Aaron and Michelle officially joined their lives together in their intimate Syracuse wedding in Armory Square, surrounded by their witnesses and many friends and family, joining them from around the globe via live stream. It was my first time getting to capture a micro-wedding, and I loved the extreme intimacy of the experience. The day was about them and their love for one another. In a word, it was perfect.
Michelle’s day started at the Marriott Syracuse Downtown, where she prepared for the day. There was a peace and calmness in the experience; the serenity of the moment was all hers to savor.
Michelle’s dress was a gorgeous fit and flare sweetheart with a lace overlay. Her jewelry was the perfect compliment to her dress, elegant and simple.
Aaron and Michelle decided on a first look, and we were able to capture it right outside of the Marriott.
Michelle waits for her ride to pull around to travel to Franklin Square.
Since Michelle and Aaron’s Zoom reception was happening right after the ceremony, we capture their portraits beforehand in Franklin Square. It was a gorgeous day for portraits. Perfect fall temperature with the sun coming in and out of the clouds.
After the ceremony, we walked back to Michelle and Aaron’s apartment right in the square for their reception.
Michelle prepped for the online chats while Aaron prepared the bubbly. Luna looked on, it typical cat-like fashion.
Michelle, showing off the BLING!
The Zoom reception, complete with toasts and the traditional cake-cutting was wonderful. Michelle and Aaron had it planned out perfectly, with breakout rooms acting as “tables” so they could interact with their guests.
Congratulations, Michelle and Aaron!
