Emily and Donald
The Orchard Lodge was the setting for Emily and Don’s wedding at Dibbles Inn this past Friday. This lovely day has been in the works since their romantic engagement at the gorgeous Maroon Bells in Colorado in 2018. Emily and Don met online and had an instant connection. They feel in love and were living together within 6 months of dating. They finally had their chance to share their wedding with their friends and family when they said “I do” in front of the arches at Dibbles.
The day at Dibble’s started with the traditional dressing of the bride. Emily wore a stunning applique designed dress which fit in beautifully with the flowered setting of the ceremony.
Don enjoyed the gorgeous weather and refreshing breeze outside while putting on the final touches.
We spend a moment pre-ceremony to capture a first look with Emily and her dad. This is always a special moment and memory between father and daughter.
It was all sunshine and blue skies for the ceremony. Rarely do we have a more perfect August wedding day.
Dibbles Inn has one of my absolute favorite portrait locations among some very tall pines and greenery. And the color pallet that Emily chose, with the pale blues and leafy greens was perfect!
Love the suspenders!
Party time! The reception kicked off with introductions, first dances and some fun speeches.
Congratulations, Emily and Don!
